About Morgan
Playing Background
Morgan was a standout North Carolina high school softball player as Morgan Childers before continuing her career as a Division I pitcher at USC Upstate.
After an excellent college career, Morgan was drafted by the Akron Racers and played professional softball.
Coaching Background
Morgan has coached at multiple levels, including Campbell University, Wingate University, Holly Springs High School, Green Hope High School, and travel ball.
She also brings 18 years of pitching lesson experience to the athletes she works with at South Wake Sports Academy.

Morgan’s coaching style is honest, passionate, and player-centered. She wants athletes to work hard, but she also believes the process should be positive, encouraging, and fun.
Her lessons are built around helping each pitcher meet her goals while developing the confidence to compete with purpose. Morgan consistently focuses on confidence and heart, helping athletes grow both mechanically and mentally.
When she sees players struggle with attitude or insecurity, she works to build confidence from the inside out so athletes can trust their work and carry themselves with more belief.
