Tom Hayes was co-owner of Hit & Run from 2001-2020, and is the co-founder and Commisioner of Central Carolina Scholastic Summer League from 2007-present. He was an assistant coach for FVHS from 1995-2017, with a state championship in 2002 and runner up 2000 and 2013. He was a pitcher at NC State from 1973-1976, leading the team in strikeouts and innings in 1974, 1975 and 1976.
